Pastoral Staff

Pastor Joel Collier was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. He came to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ at age 16, responding to an impassioned call from his youth leader to discover Jesus. He received his call to ministry during his sophomore year in college.

Pastor Joel has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion/Christian Ministry from Warner Pacific College, a Masters of Divinity from Anderson School of Theology and a Doctoral of Ministry degree in Revival Studies from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He received his ordination in the Church of God at the Oregon State Camp meeting in August of 2007.

Joel started his ministry career as a youth minister at the Richmond Community Church. From that point, his associate pastor roles include youth, outreach, discipleship, evangelism, small groups, and administration. Joel has officially served churches in Oregon and Indiana.

The Collier family includes Pastor Joel and his wife, Glenna, their sons, James, Jonathan, & Jeremy, and their two cats, Ruffles, who rules the house, and Sabastian, who adopted our house during campmeeting and refuses to leave. Ruffles spends her day cleaning and preening herself, while Sabastian works as an expert mouser.
